Senior Wireless Connectivity Systems Architect

Alif Semiconductor is revolutionizing the way to create secure connected AI-enabled embedded solutions. We are looking for an experienced, self-driven and motivated Senior Wireless Connectivity Systems Architect.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the system specification of our 802.11 WLAN and Bluetooth LE technology

1. Function as Wireless Communication System Architect – with a deep understanding of RF channel, Modem and / or the protocol stack, he/she shall analyze and specify the Wireless subsystem
2. Define wireless subsystem requirements working closely with cross functional team – Marketing, Design and Application Teams
3. Study Algorithms and Architectural trade-offs

• Interfacing with lead customers and partners on specification
• Assisting with the Technology roadmap based on customer feedback and market assessment

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of Wireless Communication System Design/System Engineering experience
• Strong implementation knowledge of one or more wireless standards – 802.11 a/b/g/n/ax, BLE5.x, 802.15.4 / ZigBee
• Strong System level modeling experience with MATLAB/Simulink or similar
• Demonstrable experience developing radio solutions in the mobile, wearable, and computing segments and taking them to high volume production
• Demonstrable knowledge of standards driven radio design, test, and certification in one or more wireless standards listed above
• Strategic thinking to come out with proposals for new architectures and other complementary technologies

Requirements:

• Electrical Engineering degree (MS preferred) and 10+ years of experience in the wireless industry with at least 5+ years in Wi-Fi or BLE or both
• Good understanding of Wireless connectivity RF, Modem and the protocol stack
• Ability to capture customer’s requirements and producing detail specification
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Familiarity with Wi-Fi Alliance and BT SIG
