Person Detection on the Ensemble E7
This application showcases Plumerai’s Presence Detection running on the Alif Ensemble platform, enabling high-performance people detection and tracking at the edge. The solution achieves 80+ FPS at 400 MHz, outperforming a 1.5 GHz Cortex-A72 running at 55 FPS while using significantly more power. It detects and tracks people—even when partially occluded—assigning 20+ unique IDs for reliable multi-person tracking. Designed for real-world deployment, it operates indoors, outdoors, and in NIR lighting, supports wide-angle lenses up to 180° FOV, and detects people at distances beyond 20 meters (65 feet).
