Principal Hardware Engineer

Job Duties: 

  • Perform Schematic capture and component selection. Build and maintain library. Oversee PCB layout 
  • Bring up and debug internal evaluation boards
  • Perform detailed characterization, optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Create and Maintain BOM
  • Interface to customers in support of applications team.


Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of transmission lines, high frequency digital routing
  • Knowledge and Experience with basic I/O protocols such as SPI/I2C/UART/I2S/I3C
  • Knowledge and Experience with advanced I/O protocols such as Ethernet, SDIO, USB2.0, MIPI DSI/CSI
  • Knowledge of antennas and antenna matching preferred
  • Experience with FCC/ETSI certification required
  • Experience with PTCRB or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
  • Experience with test equipment such as vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, AWGs, call boxes. Experience with CMW500 strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of wireless concepts such as noise figure, sensitivity, EVM, ACLR, spectral mask, spurious, s-parameters, Smith charts, and tuning networks.
  • Experience with wireless protocols such as LTE, WLAN, and Bluetooth strongly preferred
  • Experience with GNSS standards such as GPS, Galileo, Beidou, Glonass preferred
  • BSEE, MSEE or PhD with 10+ years of experience.

Principal Validation Engineer

Job Duties: 

  • Create, maintain, and operate automated test environment for multi-Function Wireless SoC, including
    • Basic IO protocols (SPI/I2C/UART/I2S/I3C)
    • Advanced I/O protocols such as Ethernet, SDIO, USB2.0, MIPI DSI/CSI
    • RF Testing such as noise figure, sensitivity, EVM, ACPR, spectral mask, spurious, s-parameters
    • PTCRB conformance testing. 


Qualifications: 

  • Strong experience with high level programming language for testing, such as python or Labview.
  • Experience testing LTE, WLAN, or Bluetooth wireless devices strongly preferred
  • Knowledge and Experience with basic I/O protocols such as SPI/I2C/UART/I2S/I3C
  • Knowledge and Experience with advanced I/O protocols such as Ethernet, SDIO, USB2.0
  • Experience with test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, AWGs, call boxes. Experience with CMW500 strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in embedded firmware development strongly preferred. 
  • BSEE or MSEE with 10+ years of experience.

Senior Manager or Director, RF/AMS

Job Duties: 

  • Oversee RF/Analog Design and layout teams developing cutting edge, ultra low power wireless transceivers. 
  • Work with digital and marketing teams to define product specifications and interfaces
  • Determine project headcounts and schedules
  • Perform detailed circuit design
  • Mentor Junior engineers


Qualifications: 

  • Proven record of bringing advanced CMOS RF SoCs to high volume mass production
  • Experience with RFIC transceiver design for protocols such as LTE, WLAN, and Bluetooth 
  • Deep knowledge of transceiver systems and architecture 
  • Experience with CMOS technologies 28nm and below.
  • Experience with GNSS standards such as GPS, Galileo, Beidou, Glonass preferred
  • Experience with power management blocks such as DC-DC converters, LDOs preferred
  • Experience with Sigma Delta, SAR ADCs and current steering DACs.
  • BSEE or MSEE, or PhDEE with 10+ years of experience.

Analog/Mixed Signal Design Engineer

  • Design of high performance and ultra-low power ADCs and DACs
  • Knowledge of various architectures, including SAR ADC, Sigma-Delta ADC, Current steering DACs, R-2R DAC, etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of key concepts such as noise, mismatch, linearity
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of digital integration principals preferred
  • Education: BSEE Minimum, MSEE or PhD preferred
